On episode 4 of the "Cry About It" podcast, it was my pleasure to speak with Neil Rubenstein. I've known Neil through the music industry for years. We worked together when he booked bands like The Sleeping, John Nolan of Taking Back Sunday, Michele Nolan of Straylight Run and many other great acts. You might also recognize his name from the liner notes on Taking Back Sunday and Brand New records. If you're too young to have bought a physical copy you'll recognize his screams from various songs on Taking Back Sunday's "Tell All Your Friends" album. He was also the frontman of This Year's Model, Sons of Abraham and These Enzymes. Neil is now a hilarious comedian who travels the country bringing laughs to the masses with the same DIY ethic he learned in punk rock. He also has been going viral on Youtube and Tiktok and hosts a mental health podcast.
